2.4.12: Modals, Tooltips, or Read More

Add modals, tooltips, or Read More sections

The Popup Content|Read More tool adds modals, tooltips, popovers, and Read More sections to a page.

To add a modal

1. Open the page for editing.
2. Launch the USU Design Tools.
3. On the USU Design Tools menu, click Content|Read More.
   
4. Select the text.
5. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Add Modal.
6. In the Modal Dialog, type the title and content for the dialog box.
   
7. Click Save.

To add a tooltip

1. Open the page for editing.
2. Launch the USU Design Tools.
3. On the USU Design Tools menu, click Content|Read More.
4. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Tooltip|Popover.
   
5. Select the text.
6. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Add Tooltip.
   
7. In the Tooltip Text box, type the text for the tooltip.
   
8. Click Save.

To add a popover

1. Open the page for editing.
2. Launch the USU Design Tools.
3. On the USU Design Tools menu, click Content|Read More.
4. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Tooltip|Popover.
   
5. Select the text.
6. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Add Popover.
   
7. In the Popover text box, type a title for the popover.
   
8. Click Save.

To add a Read More section

1. Open the page for editing.
2. Launch the USU Design Tools.
3. On the USU Design Tools menu, click Content|Read More.
   
4. Select the section of text to hide.
5. In the Popup Content|Read More panel, click Wrap Section.
6. Click Save.
